Lori Vary joined the LSCU Service Corporation as the Director of ePurchasing in 2008. She is responsible for the implementation and management of Ventelligence. Her career began in the insurance and manufacturing industries in Rhode Island and has subsequently worked in the government and retail arenas in Florida. Her background includes 14 years of financial analysis and multiple years of e-sourcing and process improvement experience. In her most recent position as Director of eSourcing & Process Improvement with Foot Locker, she successfully led the effort in achieving an average of $10M in annual savings for several consecutive years. Her responsibilities included developing procedures to ensure consistency and profitability in process improvement and financial programs throughout the organization. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from Rhode Island College.
Anita Stoumbelis is the Vice President of Product Development for the LSCU Service Corporation. She began her financial services career in the savings and loan industry in Tallahassee, Florida, and subsequently served as Vice President of Administrative Services for SunTrust Bank. Her responsibilities at SunTrust included human resources, regulatory compliance, and operations management. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Florida State University, graduating with honors. She has more than 15 years experience as a generalist in financial services management, with emphasis on executive recruiting, performance improvement, and organizational development. Since coming to LSCU in 2000, she has focused on developing products and services that credit unions need to survive, thrive, and compete in the rapidly changing financial services market.
Marvin Garland serves as the COO for the LSCU Service Corporation. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Florida State University. A Certified Public Accountant since 1984, his previous experience includes eight years with a regional CPA firm in the position of Audit Manager where he specialized in providing auditing and consulting services for not-for-profit entities. He is a former board member of the CUNA CFO Council and acts as a consultant to Ventelligence.
